In Wizard101 you can play a young sorcerer's apprentice and learn spells that allow him or her to face the evil creatures that live in the city of Sorcelleville. A mixture between the world of Harry Potter and the fighting in the Pokémon, younger gamers will likely enjoy this MMORPG.
Getting started with Wizard101

To play Wizard101, you must first register online on the game's main page. Once you've created login credentials and installed the game, Wizard101 starts you out by helping you create your sorcerer. Depending on your personality and your tastes, you'll be sorted into a school of magic: School of Fire, Ice, Storm, Myth, Life, Death or Harmony.
The adventure continues with a tutorial about how to play Wizard101. You'll meet Merle Ambrose, director of the magical school, who will present the game environment. Battles against magical creatures and other players take a prominent place in Wizard101. Depending on your school of magic, magic cards, each corresponding to a specific area, will be awarded. This combat system leaves room for creative attacks. When you launch an attack, you will be treated to beautiful gorgeous graphic effects that show the forces and the conflict you started.
As you progress through the game, you will gradually find new magic cards, expand your powers of witchcraft and deal an unbeatable deck of cards. Later, you can even adopt a pet, which will follow your every move.
