JOB PURPOSTo be able to follow OEM procedures for all scheduled Maintenance of Fixed and portable Arresting Gear Systems and other associated equipment
To be able to diagnose the malfunction of all mechanically, Hydraulically and pneumatically operated components of the systems thru’ visual, audible inspection and by the use of testing devices
Required to repair or replace defective parts or components in accordance with OEM procedures using all safe practices
Performs operational and functional checks on AGS equipment
Carries out general maintenance duties as assigned by Foreman

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES – Key Functions: المهمام الوظيفية

• Perform diagnosis, repair, refurbishment, and scheduled Maintenance off all Aircraft arresting systems and associate equipment

• Carry out visual inspections and evaluations on defective equipment and components using appropriate testing / measuring equipment

• Replace worn or damaged components as laid down in manufacturers OEM manuals

• Ability to read, understand and work from OEM Technical manuals

• Replace worn or defective parts and components as per OEM Technical Manuals

• Perform Scheduled & Non-Scheduled maintenance as and when required as per OEM Technical Manuals

• Follow all Airfield and Radio procedures Whilst working on or near the airfields

• Follow instructions given written or verbal from Foreman or Site Manager

• Perform general maintenance as and when required as per OEM Technical Manuals

• Adhere to all Company and program policies and procedures to ******* but not limited to;

• HR Policies and procedures
• Health & Safety procedures
• Program Standard operating procedures and work instructions
